Breaking Barriers

The REACH Foundation has partnered with martial Artist Leif Becker, "The Fastest Board Breaker" in the world. In 2012 Leif will attempt to break 100,000 boards in 24 hours, each board representing barriers which face children today. Similar to a walkathon, families or organizations can "adopt" a board, and will be given a personal "Breaking Barriers" web page where they can address the barrier which faces them or others in their life, and raise money. The purpose of the program is to raise awareness of the barriers young people face on a daily basis and to raise money to fund programs which will assist children in breaking these barriers.

Kids Helping Kids

Encouraging children to help others less fortunate, Kids Helping Kids is a program which helps individual children, class rooms, schools, or other youth organizations design programs which raise awareness and money to aid children in need. REACH provides education on children's needs, ideas on fund raising and provides supplies when appropriate. It is the Foundation's goal to motivate kids to make a difference.

Out of the Blue

This award is given to an individual, company or other organization that demonstrates the positive impact people can have on each other and in their communities. The first award was given to the University of Memphis men's basketball team for their welcoming manners, positive attitude, and role model behavior. The University's mascot is a "blue" tiger, giving the award its name.

Young Heroes Award

The REACH Foundation has initiated a program which, beginning in 2012, will recognize and honor students in the 4th to 12th grades who model public service, courage, and inspiration by excelling in the classroom, serving their community, overcoming adversity, or who have inspired others through their deeds.

Project Child Save

Donate to The REACH Foundation using PayPal: all money will go directly to Project Child Save. Both REACH and Project Child Save are a 501.c.3 non-profit organization.

The REACH Foundation supports the mission of Project Child Save, a 501.c.3 non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abduction through public awareness campaigns and, when necessary, finding and rescuing kidnapped children. Founded by Ty Ritter, the mission of this organization and its concerns are presented in Ritter's book, My Body Is My Own: The Complete Child Protection Handbook. He has received the prestigious Lifetime Appreciation Award from the City of Hope for his devotion to the safety and recovery of children.

Ty now lectures nationwide and has been a guest on numerous TV shows including Dr. Phil, Rita Cosby, and Geraldo. Ty and his elite team have conducted countless missions and to date, his organization has rescued over two hundred children worldwide. A subject of extreme sensitivity, The REACH Foundation has brought Ty Ritter to Connecticut to speak personally of his mission and Project Child Save. Scholarships

The REACH Foundation offers college and vocational school scholarships to high school seniors who have shown leadership qualities and a desire to become involved in school and community activities. These scholarships are currently awarded in Missouri, Arkansas, and Connecticut.
